Washing: Always wash in cool water using a mild shampoo and conditioner. Washing in hot water will damage the fiber.

Cleaning Technique: Never scrub the hair. Instead, swish it gently from side to side and dunk it up and down to clean. Rinse thoroughly in cool water.

Drying: Use a towel and pat the hair dry. Never use a blow dryer (if in a rush, use only the cold setting). Never brush or comb while the hair is wet.

Detangling: If necessary, de-tangle the hair gently with a wide-toothed comb, working from the bottom toward the top.

Frizz Control: If the hair gets frizzy, apply a sheen spray and then comb. You can resume styling once the hair is completely dry.

Dreadlock Care: Never comb or brush dreadlocks. Use your fingers to comb through and separate the locs gently to maintain the Maverick Locs™ texture.
